Then mayor Mika Rama speaks for the family of Vicente Rama whose bust — with those of Vicente Sotto and Bobby Nalzaro and the Antonio Abad Tormis statue — was installed at the CJJ Gallery in Museo Sugbo.

A statue of the late Cebuano journalist and lawyer Antonio Abad Tormis, honoring him as the first Cebuano Press Freedom Martyr, was unveiled on September 21, 2022, at the CJJ Media Gallery in Museo Sugbo, Cebu City, during the 30th Cebu Press Freedom Week. Led by the Cebu Citizens Press Council, the event also honored other press freedom figures, with Tormis’s statue depicting him seated at a table with a typewriter, and was attended by his family and the local media community.
